TeleCanor Global Ltd — Important, 17-06-2026: Company Update

Telecanor Global has outlined a multi-phase roadmap to transition from a Technical Payment Gateway to a licensed Payment Aggregator. The company will commercially roll out its Telecanor Agentic Payment Protocol (TAPP) on July 15, 2026. TAPP aims to revolutionize escrow mechanics for client Payment Aggregators (PAs) by leveraging UPI's Single Block Multiple Debit (SBMD) and One-Time Mandate (OTM) networks. This will eliminate pre-funded escrow risk, mitigate chargeback liabilities, and lower operating capital thresholds for PAs, offering significant capital efficiency and reduced risk. The full operational switch to a self-managed PA ecosystem is planned for Q2 2027.
