ALFA TRANSFORMERS LIMITED has announced a board meeting where it approved the slump sale of its Vadodara Unit as a going concern, pending shareholder approval. This unit reported Rs. 10.49 Cr revenue and Rs. 2.72 Cr in losses for the last financial year, with accumulated losses of Rs. 15.81 Cr as of March 31, 2026. The sale, driven by the unit's substantial losses and working capital issues, is to KASST Industries Limited for a cash consideration of Rs. 18 Cr. This strategic divestment aims to make the company debt-free. The transaction is not a related party deal.
