Persistent Systems is set to acquire 100% of Germany-based Nagarro SE, a prominent digital engineering leader. The deal, valued at approximately EUR 1.4 billion (₹12,600 Cr)*, includes an initial 21% stake acquisition followed by a public takeover offer. This strategic move aims to significantly expand Persistent's European footprint, blending its AI-led engineering and North American scale with Nagarro's strong European presence, ~EUR 1 billion (CY25) revenue, and 18,500 employees. The combined entity will create a ~$2.9 billion AI-led engineering powerhouse, strengthening verticals like BFSI and Industrials, and unlocking new markets globally.
