Godawari Power And Ispat limited — JV/Acquisition, 04-07-2026: Acquisition

Godawari Power & Ispat (GPIL) has increased its investment in wholly-owned subsidiary Godawari New Energy Private Limited (GNEPL) by Rs. 150.00 Crores. This brings GPIL's total investment in GNEPL to Rs. 600.00 Crores, maintaining 100% ownership. The funds will be utilized for GNEPL's capital expenditure and working capital to set up a 20 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) plant. This strategic move diversifies GPIL's portfolio, expanding its footprint into the burgeoning energy sector and new-age power solutions.
