Somany Ceramics Limited — JV/Acquisition, 13-07-2026: Acquisition

Somany Ceramics is making strategic moves! The board approved an investment of ~Rs 58.8 Cr for up to 49% in Siravit Ceramics to build a 9M sqm/year Glazed Vitrified Tiles plant for the Southern market. It's also putting ~Rs 2 Cr for up to 50% in V.S. Industries, a Nepal-based construction chemicals JV, expanding its international footprint. Plus, an extra ~Rs 15 Cr is going into its subsidiary, Sudha Somany Ceramics (FY26 turnover ~Rs 243 Cr), for plant modernization. These investments aim for capacity expansion and geographic growth.
