Somany Ceramics' board has approved three key investments. It will invest up to Rs 58.80 Cr for a 49% stake in Siravit Ceramics, aiming to add ~9 million sqmt Glazed Vitrified Tiles capacity to boost its Southern market presence. The company will also acquire up to 50% in V.S. Industries (Nepal) for Rs 2 Cr, marking its entry into Nepal and the construction chemicals segment. Additionally, Somany will inject Rs 15 Cr into its subsidiary, Sudha Somany Ceramics, for plant modernization and upgrades. These strategic moves target capacity expansion and market diversification.
