Emcure Pharma is acquiring the remaining 12.05% stake in its subsidiary, Gennova Biopharmaceuticals, for Rs 231.87 crore. This move will make Gennova a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emcure. Gennova, specializing in R&D, manufacturing, and marketing of biotechnology products, reported a turnover of Rs 491.74 crore in FY26. This full acquisition grants Emcure complete strategic and operational control over Gennova's biotech capabilities, strengthening its presence and integration in the rapidly growing biopharmaceuticals segment.
