MCSL delivered a strong Q1 FY27. Total revenue hit ₹155.53 Cr, climbing 7.11% YoY, mainly fueled by increased interest income and fees. Profitability saw a massive turnaround, with net profit soaring to ₹8.12 Cr from a ₹4.67 Cr loss last year, and up 51.21% QoQ. Basic EPS jumped to ₹4.94. This surge in profit was largely due to a sharp 70% drop in impairment on financial instruments, coupled with strategic sale of a ₹203.01 Cr stressed loan portfolio. While other expenses increased, these results signal strong financial momentum from improved asset quality and bottom-line recovery.
