Lupin Limited — JV/Acquisition, 21-07-2026: Acquisition

Lupin, through its subsidiary Lupin Inc., has strategically spun out two oncology programs (LNP7457 & LNP8701) into Kaveri Therapeutics Inc., a new clinical-stage oncology company. For granting exclusive perpetual licenses for these programs, valued at USD 1.6 million, Lupin Inc. gains an 82.2% equity stake in Kaveri. This move accelerates the global clinical development of these targeted cancer therapies. Kaveri, with seed funding from Lupin, will now raise additional capital to advance these promising programs for solid tumors, positioning Lupin to bring meaningful innovation to patients.
