MedPlus Health Services saw consolidated revenue jump 21.8% YoY to ₹1,879.6 Cr for the quarter. However, Operating EBITDA dropped 10.6% YoY to ₹65.1 Cr, with net profit (PAT) falling 21.7% to ₹33.17 Cr. Gross margin compression to 24.5% (down 160 bps) was driven by a lower Private Label product mix and reduced margins from the franchisee business.
The company added 146 new stores, expanding its network to 5,476 pharmacies, including a strategic shift towards more franchisee outlets. Same-store sales growth (SSSG) for mature stores (Upto FY23 cohort) was a solid 12.2% YoY. In a bright spot, the Diagnostics segment performed strongly, with revenue growing 22.4% YoY to ₹37.08 Cr and Operating EBITDA surging 59.5% to ₹6.59 Cr, boosting its margin to 17.8%. Inventory days remained stable at 40.
