Profitability saw a significant turnaround, with EBITDA jumping 40% to ₹43 Cr and PAT turning positive at ₹5 Cr, compared to a loss last year. Department stores achieved 6% LFL growth, while the Beauty segment excelled, growing 15% to ₹327 Cr, led by fragrances up 34%. Beauty distribution (GSSBB) had its best quarter, soaring 53% to ₹129 Cr. The value fashion format INTUNE also saw a trend reversal, growing 21% with 10% LFL.
The company's premiumization strategy is paying off, visible in a 10% rise in Average Transaction Value and a 72% contribution from the premium portfolio. The First Citizen loyalty program continues to drive engagement, expanding to 13.8 million members and contributing 85% of sales. Strategic store expansion saw 8 new stores launched this quarter. Debt was reduced by ₹93 Cr.
Management expressed satisfaction with the strong start to FY27, citing sustained demand and improved supply chain visibility ahead of the festive season. The company aims to strengthen its aspirational positioning, expand in key markets, maintain inventory discipline, and become debt-free by FY27.
