Ramkrishna Forgings started FY27 strong, reporting Q1 consolidated revenue of ₹1,217 Cr, a 19.8% increase YoY. Profit Before Tax (PBT) soared 172.5% YoY to ₹65 Cr. This solid performance reflects improved business momentum in both domestic and international markets, driven by firm domestic demand and healthy export growth, leading to stronger profitability from better operating leverage.

The company is diversifying its portfolio, with Commercial Vehicles remaining resilient while Railways, Oil & Gas, Mining, and other industrial segments scale up. A key strategic focus is expanding into non-ferrous forgings for Aerospace and Semi-Conductor industries, alongside ramping up casting operations.

In Q1 FY27, Ramkrishna Forgings secured new orders worth ₹278 Cr from the Auto segment (82% PV, 18% 2W) for a 4-year program, and an additional ₹15 Cr from the Indian Railways' metro segment.

Consolidated EBITDA reached ₹218 Cr, up 47.0% YoY, with the EBITDA margin improving to 17.96% from 14.64% YoY.

Management is optimistic, anticipating continued growth from sustained domestic demand, a revival in export markets, expanded capacity, and new verticals like casting and aluminum forging, all positioning the company for sustainable value creation.
