CreditAccess Grameen (CAGL) reported strong Q1 FY27 results. Assets Under Management (AUM) grew 16.4% YoY to INR 30,319 Cr, with disbursements rising 11.9% YoY to INR 6,107 Cr. The company is driving growth through "Project Shakti," focusing on digital acceleration via the Grameen Mahi app, now used by 15.3 Lakh customers for digital payments and engagement. They're expanding product offerings to deepen customer relationships and retain vintage borrowers, with Retail Finance share increasing to 20.6%. CAGL added 2.5 Lakh new borrowers and 42 new branches, taking the total to 2,276, with digital collections hitting 24.2%.
CAGL projects continued strong performance for FY27, guiding for 20-25% AUM growth, 4.0-4.8% ROA, and 16-20% ROE, indicating a positive outlook for future expansion.
