NTPC announced strong Q1 consolidated results: Revenue rose to ₹50,741 Cr, Profit hit ₹6,896 Cr. The company completed its coal mining business hive-off to NML for ₹6,339 Cr and acquired the remaining 26% of NEWS, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary.
