    Canara Bank's board approved Q1 consolidated results: Net Profit ₹4,864.08 Cr, EPS ₹5.71. Gross NPAs eased to 1.57% (Net 0.36%). Bank transferred ₹1,936.63 Cr IFR to General Reserves and is exiting Canbank Factors. A ₹0.418 Cr RBI penalty was noted.
