Gallantt Ispat reported revenue of ₹1146 Cr for the quarter, up 2% year-on-year. Profit after tax (PAT) was ₹124 Cr, a 29% decline year-on-year, with EBITDA at ₹203 Cr (down 20% YoY). Higher raw material costs impacted profitability. The company remains a dominant Rebar producer in Uttar Pradesh, holding a 25% market share.

The company is focused on capital-efficient, self-funded growth through backward integration. A ₹3000 Cr capex program is underway, primarily to secure iron ore mines in UP and Rajasthan, and expand steelmaking capacity to ~12.3 lakh MTPA. Enhancing energy self-sufficiency with thermal and solar power is also a key strategic pillar.

Recent initiatives include the acquisition of railway rakes and commissioning of a wagon tippler for logistics efficiency. Successful bids for iron ore mines in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan are significant developments for raw material security. Digital initiatives like SAP implementation are improving operational efficiency.

Quarterly revenue was ₹1146 Cr (+2% YoY), PAT ₹124 Cr (-29% YoY), and EBITDA ₹203 Cr (-20% YoY). EBITDA margin stood at 17.8%, with EBITDA per tonne at ₹8787.

Management highlights a commitment to structural profitability via organic growth. The capex program aims to expand capacity and improve raw material self-reliance, anticipating an EBITDA boost of ~₹2,000 per tonne.
