Rainbow Children's Medicare is expanding its network by developing a new 100-bed children and women's hospital in Malad, Mumbai, through its subsidiary RWCHPL. The estimated project cost is ₹90 Cr, with Rainbow contributing ₹68.4 Cr. The company is partnering with Fountainhead TCHM Healthcare LLP, a group of reputed doctors, who will acquire a 24% stake in RWCHPL for ₹24,000. This strategic move strengthens Rainbow's presence in Western India, complementing its Pune facility, and establishing a hub-and-spoke model for long-term growth in Maharashtra's healthcare market. RWCHPL will transition from a wholly-owned to a 76% subsidiary.
