ABB India delivered a strong Q2 CY2026, with orders surging 50% YoY to INR 4,363 Cr and revenue climbing 21% YoY to INR 3,559 Cr. For H1 CY2026, orders grew 36% to INR 8,643 Cr, and revenue was up 13% to INR 6,743 Cr. Q2 Profit after tax rose 8% YoY to INR 370 Cr, though H1 PAT saw an 11% decline to INR 712 Cr. Operational EBITA in Q2 grew 23% YoY to INR 461 Cr (13.0% margin).
Growth was broad-based across Electrification, Motion, and Automation, driven by India's megatrends like electrification and digitalization. The company secured significant wins in data centers, renewables, and infrastructure projects. Profitability was impacted by commodity inflation and forex volatility.
With an order backlog of INR 11,898 Cr, future revenue visibility is strong. Management is optimistic, banking on government capex and energy transition efforts. ABB India also declared a special dividend of INR 90 per share and received strong ESG ratings.
