Dodla Dairy delivered strong Q1 FY27 results, with record revenue of ₹1,198 Cr (+19% YoY) and record milk procurement. Value-added products (VAP) sales hit a new high of ₹415 Cr, up 17.6% YoY. Africa business also reported record revenues of ₹154 Cr (+45.6% YoY) and ₹24 Cr EBITDA (+74% YoY).
Despite this, profitability saw near-term pressure, with EBITDA at ₹65 Cr (5.4% margin) and PAT at ₹41 Cr. Management attributed this to elevated procurement costs not fully passed on, viewing it as cyclical. They expect margin recovery from Q2 onwards as price increases are implemented. Strategic investments include a stake in premium D2C brand Sids Farm. The company targets 10% India volume growth with a confident outlook.
