Birla Corp commissioned its Kundanganj plant for ₹300 Cr, expanding cement capacity to 21.4 MT, targeting 27.6 MT. It increased green power to 33%. Despite raw material issues, the jute division posted ₹4 Cr cash profit in Q1 from better pricing and cost cuts.
