Emami reported resilient performance with consolidated revenue up 15% to ₹1,039 crore. Domestic business surged 20% (12% like-to-like, 8% volume growth), while International Business saw a 12% decline due to West Asia disruptions. Despite higher input costs, EBITDA grew 6% to ₹226 crore, and PBT increased 4% to ₹195 crore. Profit After Tax, however, decreased 15.4% to ₹139 crore.
Strategic investments drove growth, with the portfolio up 61% (like-to-like) and now contributing 18% to domestic business. Emami increased its stake in Axiom Ayurveda (AloFrut) to wholly owned and acquired a majority stake in IncNut (Vedix, SkinKraft), strengthening its personalized beauty segment. Channel transformation continues with organized channels growing 19% (like-to-like) and contributing 32% of domestic sales, alongside strong e-commerce and quick commerce momentum.
Management is optimistic about demand trends in Q2FY27 and the continued momentum of strategic investment businesses. The focus remains on leveraging a diversified portfolio, strong distribution, innovation, and cost management to deliver sustained, profitable growth, while integrating digital and AI across its value chain.
