JSW Infrastructure, India's second-largest private port operator, saw Q1 FY27 cargo volumes grow 6% YoY to 31 MT, primarily from JSW Group volumes (+13.7%). Its logistics arm, Navkar Corp, recorded a strong 40% YoY surge in domestic cargo.

The company targets significant port capacity expansion to 400 MTPA by 2030, pursuing brownfield projects, greenfield opportunities, and strategic acquisitions. Logistics growth centers on new ICDs/MMLPs, Gati Shakti Cargo Terminals, and expanding its rail/container rake fleet.

Recent developments include capacity upgrades at Goa and Mangalore, plus interim operations at Kolkata Container Terminal and Arakkonam GCT. Critical projects like Tuticorin Bulk, Jaigarh LPG, and the Odisha Slurry Pipeline are on track for FY27 completion.

Financially, Q1 FY27 revenue jumped 18% YoY to ₹1,445 Cr, with operating EBITDA up 16% to ₹674 Cr. PAT was ₹358 Cr. A strong balance sheet with ₹9,863 Cr cash and a ₹7,503 Cr QIP underpins future plans, alongside an Investment Grade rating from Moody’s.

Management forecasts consolidated revenue of ₹6,850 Cr and EBITDA of ₹3,000 Cr for FY27, projecting growth to ₹10,800 Cr revenue and ₹5,000 Cr EBITDA by FY28, capitalizing on India’s robust economic and infrastructure development.
