Balkrishna Industries (BKT) Q1 FY27 saw strong Off-Highway (OHT) volumes, up 16% YoY to 93,770 metric tons. Revenue grew 24% YoY to INR3,409 Cr, with PAT at INR432 Cr. EBITDA margin stood at 20.61%, impacted by raw material costs, partially offset by a 5% price hike in Q1. India's rising 40% volume contribution also slightly affected margins.

Management highlighted record OHT sales despite global challenges. Europe and Americas are showing stable growth, while India's infra capex aids strong domestic performance across industrial, construction, and agri sectors. Geopolitical risks, supply chain disruptions, and weather concerns are key variables for upcoming quarters.

Carbon Black capacity increased to 360,000 MTPA. The new On-Highway business (Truck Bus Radial, 2-wheeler) launched in India with positive early response, expecting ramp-up from Q2. Total capex for FY27 is estimated at INR2,500-3,000 Cr, with INR1,000 Cr already spent. Focus remains on volume growth, margin discipline, and strategic expansion.
