Monte Carlo Fashions saw Q1-FY27 revenue grow 7.6% YoY to INR 149 Cr, driven by strong volume increases in Cotton (+23%), Home Textiles (+42%), and Kids wear (+5%). Despite this, the company reported an Operating EBITDA loss of INR 12.9 Cr and a net loss of INR 23.4 Cr, widening from the previous year. Diluted EPS stood at INR (11.30).

Strategically, Monte Carlo is pushing aggressive retail expansion, targeting 40-45 new Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) with a focus on Western and Southern India. They also aim to diversify their product range to include summer wear, athleisures, and ultra-premium clothing, alongside modernizing manufacturing.

Recent notable developments include 11 new store openings this quarter, 15% YoY growth in online sales, and robust performance from Home Textiles, the 'Rock.it' brand, and Footwear (up 38% YoY). Monte Carlo also partnered with quick commerce platforms and Salesforce for digital transformation.

The management is optimistic about future growth, highlighting continued retail expansion plans and the success of recent pre-winter and winter trade shows, indicating positive order bookings for the upcoming season.
