TCI Express reported a strong quarter with total income rising 8.7% YoY to Rs. 315.3 Cr. Profit After Tax increased 6.7% YoY to Rs. 22.4 Cr, translating to an EPS of Rs. 5.7. Capacity utilization reached 84%. Surface Express, the primary revenue driver, grew 8.7% YoY. E-Commerce Express was the fastest-growing segment, surging 63.0% YoY, while Domestic Air and International Air saw 28.8% and 27.3% YoY growth respectively.
The company is aggressively expanding its network, adding 35 new branches in the quarter to cross 1,000 locations. A key focus is strengthening multimodal capabilities, with plans for dedicated air hubs and continued investments in automation and digital platforms to boost efficiency and customer experience.
Notable developments include the launch of a Money Back Guarantee service for E-Commerce and the soft-launch of a dedicated international export consolidation hub. The company also expanded its Rail Express and C2C Express networks with 10 and 16 new branches, respectively.
Management highlighted healthy demand across manufacturing, pharma, EV, and SME sectors. The company plans to invest Rs. 112 Cr in capex for the current fiscal, funded by internal accruals, with future automation planned for Kolkata and Ahmedabad. The focus remains on strengthening multimodal offerings and technology-led operations.
