Fortis Healthcare reported strong Q1FY27 results. Consolidated revenue climbed 17.5% YoY to ₹2,545 Cr, with operating EBITDA up 15.8% to ₹568 Cr (22.3% margin). Profit after tax rose 3.6% to ₹263 Cr.
The hospital business saw revenue grow 19% to ₹2,187 Cr, maintaining an operating EBITDA margin of 21.5%. ARPOB increased 2.6% to ₹2.71 Cr per annum, with occupancy at 68.7%. Key specialties like Renal Sciences (+28%), Neurosciences (+27%), and Orthopedics (+23%) were significant growth drivers. Digital channels contributed 29.2% to hospital revenues, growing 18.2% YoY.
The diagnostics arm, Agilus, posted a 10.2% rise in gross revenue to ₹407 Cr, achieving a 23.9% operating EBITDA margin and conducting 10.46 million tests. Agilus also expanded its network by adding over 200 customer touchpoints.
Recent developments include the inauguration of advanced Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical Systems at Fortis Escorts facilities and the launch of India's first Centre of Excellence for Myeloma & Lymphoma at Fortis Gurugram, alongside a new Institute of Neurosciences in Noida. Net Debt stood at ₹2,233 Cr.
