Lupin reported robust Q1 FY27 results, with sales growing 33% YoY to ₹8,217.2 Cr. Net Income rose 16% YoY to ₹1,415.0 Cr, and EBITDA jumped 50% YoY to ₹2,463.5 Cr, pushing margins to 30.0%. Growth was strong across most geographies, especially North America (up 43% YoY to ₹3,590.8 Cr) and India (up 14% YoY to ₹2,379.6 Cr), which outperformed the Indian Pharma Market. LATAM and ROW also showed significant growth.

The company's strategy focuses on enhancing chronic therapy leadership in India and expanding its complex generics and biosimilars portfolio globally. India plans to launch over 20 new products in FY27 and leverage digital health offerings. In the US, the aim is to file 15+ ANDAs and launch 15+ new products, including 5+ biosimilars by FY31, supported by cost optimization.

Recent developments include EMA approval for NaMuscla® for children, China approval for Oseltamivir, and new product launches in Spain and the US (Azilsartan Medoxomil, Ranibizumab biosimilar). The company also received positive regulatory inspection outcomes (EIR with VAI) for several manufacturing sites. Management aims for India to consistently outperform the market and continues to focus on best-in-class quality.
