Hero MotoCorp had a strong Q1 FY27, with revenue up 36% YoY to ₹12,999 Cr and Profit After Tax (PAT) climbing 29% to ₹1,454 Cr. EBITDA grew 25% to ₹1,727 Cr, holding a 13.3% margin despite higher commodity costs. Total dispatches jumped 23%.
The company is strategically focused on expanding market share, notably in 125cc (+5.0% YoY), 100cc (+2.3% YoY), and scooters (+2.3% YoY). Its EV arm, VIDA, saw a 151% dispatch growth, boosting EV market share to 10.9% (+4.0% YoY) and launched new models like VX2 Plus. VIDA also debuted globally in Nepal.
Hero entered Germany, its 53rd international market, and saw its parts business revenue grow 30% to ₹1,689 Cr. Flex-fuel Splendor+ and HF Deluxe variants were introduced. The company plans ₹1,500 Cr capex in FY27 to boost capacity across EV, premium, scooters, and a new Global Parts Centre. PLI benefits added ₹48 Cr this quarter, with 100% of the portfolio expected to be eligible by December 2026, supporting future margins.
