Deccan Gold Mines has announced the board's approval for the appointment of Ms. Jade Gemma Devenish as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director. Effective August 07, 2026, her role will be subject to shareholder approval and liable to retire by rotation. Ms. Devenish brings significant expertise in gold project development, having led the Jonnagiri Gold Project – India’s first operational gold mine since Independence – through critical phases including fundraising, land acquisition, statutory approvals, and feasibility studies. Her experience is expected to add valuable insight to the company's strategic direction. She is not related to any other directors.
