CESC subsidiary Purvah Green Power has acquired 100% of six ReNew group companies, adding 1.4 GWp of operational renewable energy capacity. The deal has an Enterprise Value of INR 4859 Cr (approx. $509 million). This strategic move significantly expands Purvah Green's renewable footprint and accelerates its Pan-India presence. CESC's operational renewable capacity now stands at over 1.8 GWp, with total contracted capacity reaching 4.8 GWp. The acquisition boosts immediate cash flows as over 90% of the acquired assets have long-term power purchase agreements with SECI, accelerating the group towards its 10 GW target.
