Lloyds Metals and Energy's board approved the financial results for the quarter and appointed Mr. Avijit Ghosh as a new Independent Director. The company will acquire minimum 26% stakes in three entities for captive renewable energy projects, committing up to 29.66 Cr for wind, 9.89 Cr for another wind project, and 8.47 Cr for solar power, aiming to optimize energy costs. Additionally, a USD 200 Million loan to its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lloyds Global Resources FZCO, will convert to equity, strengthening its capital base. Further investment of up to USD 200 Million in LGRF and 625 Cr in subsidiary Thriveni Earthmovers for growth were also approved.
