Fermenta Biotech Ltd — Important, 11-08-2026: Company Update

Fermenta Biotech reported Q1FY27 consolidated revenue of INR 126.2 crore, flat sequentially but down 13% year-on-year. Profit after tax declined 56% year-on-year to INR 9.5 crore, mainly due to a strong base quarter with non-recurring income and a 40% drop in animal nutrition realisations. Positively, human nutrition volumes grew 18% quarter-on-quarter, and India's revenue contribution rose to 47%. Post-quarter, VITADEE Green®, Fermenta's plant-source Vitamin D3, received approval for use in health supplements and food products, opening a significant new market in India.
