Camlin Fine Sciences Limited — PPTs, 11-08-2026: Investor Presentation
Camlin Fine Sciences (CFS) achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenue in Q1FY27 at ₹519.9 Cr, marking a 27.5% YoY jump. Despite this, consolidated EBITDA stood at ₹17.6 Cr (3.4% margin), and the company posted a Net Loss of ₹31.8 Cr. Gross margins were impacted by higher raw material prices and limited ability to pass on costs. An exceptional item of ₹11.1 Cr for a fire insurance shortfall at its Brazil unit also affected results.
Specialty Ingredients (Straights) revenue surged 41% YoY to ₹92.7 Cr, and Value-Added Blends grew 35% YoY, boosted by Vinpai's ₹24.7 Cr contribution. Aroma Ingredients revenue also increased by 37% YoY.
CFS is focused on improving margins, optimizing working capital, and launching new functional ingredients. Strategic efforts include expanding high-value blends, growing animal nutrition solutions like Vitafor, and accelerating into specialty applications for Performance Chemicals. For Aroma, the company aims to breakeven in coming quarters, supported by a Methyl Vanillin campaign. Management anticipates continued blends growth but highlights ongoing challenges from high raw material costs and geopolitical conflicts.
