SBI reported a record Q1FY27 net profit of ₹21,121 crore, maintaining a resilient 3% domestic NIM and achieving the lowest NPAs in over two decades. Management anticipates 14-15% credit growth, driven by digital transformation through YONO and a new collection vertical to enhance personal and MSME loan penetration. Corporate credit pipeline is robust at over ₹900,000 crore, with strategic focus on emerging sectors. While Q1 slippages were ₹7,046 crore, ₹1,400 crore has been recovered. FCNR(B) flows ($6 billion mobilized) are not expected to impact NIM. The bank expresses confidence in sustainable growth and value unlocking through subsidiaries.
