Zodiac Energy has expanded its solar footprint by acquiring a 98% majority stake in Umaputra Solar Projects LLP and Kripalu Solar Projects LLP. Concurrently, it increased its ownership from 15% to 98% in Harikrishna Solar Projects LLP and Govind Solar Projects LLP. Each 98% stake involved a cash outlay of Rs. 19,600. This strategic move aims to significantly boost Zodiac's core business in setting up, producing, and selling solar power. Despite the acquired entities currently having no turnover, this expansion strengthens the company's long-term renewable energy portfolio.
