Foods & Inns Limited — PPTs, 13-08-2026: Investor Presentation
Foods & Inns reported Q1 FY27 revenue of 157 Cr (-33% YoY) and PAT of 4 Cr (-46% YoY). Exports faced headwinds from global freight issues, leading to 1800 MT of overdue shipments. Despite this, gross profit margin climbed to 55.1% and EBITDA margin to 14.3%, aided by sales of inventory manufactured at lower raw material costs. Segment bright spots include 22% volume growth in Fruit & Vegetable Pulps, 10% volume growth (+19.5% value) in Frozen Food, and 14.7% growth in Kusum Spices.
Strategically, F&I aims to boost asset utilization by diversifying pulp products and expanding its branded portfolio (Madhu, Green Top, Kusum) with innovative packaging like Tetra Recart. A key sustainability initiative is the Pectin Project JV, turning fruit waste into valuable products, with lab results now approved by MNCs. Management highlighted ongoing export challenges but expects long-term benefits from its scaled sustainable farming programs that enhance soil health and farmer profitability.
