Piramal Pharma (PPL) has acquired an additional 40.67% stake in Yapan Bio Private Limited for approximately ₹76 crores, increasing its total ownership to 74.00%. Yapan, now a PPL subsidiary, specializes as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) for vaccines and biologics. This strategic acquisition integrates Yapan's advanced large molecule capabilities, enabling PPL to more efficiently develop and scale complex biologic therapies. This enhances PPL's comprehensive service offering and strengthens its presence in the growing biologics sector.
