Vibhor Steel Tubes saw revenue jump 27.16% YoY to ₹293.69 Cr in Q1 FY27, thanks to capacity growth and strong demand. EBITDA rose 20.57% to ₹12.37 Cr. However, profit after tax (PAT) declined to ₹1.93 Cr, with margins at 4.21% (EBITDA) and 0.66% (PAT).

Strategy involves a big push into high-margin infrastructure products like transmission towers and crash barriers, targeting a 75:25 product mix by FY28. Scaling exports 10x in five years is another key focus.

Recently, VSTL launched Viyom Steel Infra Pvt Ltd, a new subsidiary for specialized steel infra products. The company also improved its credit ratings. Efforts for cost control are underway, especially at the Odisha plant.

Management anticipates a ~50% revenue upside by FY28, driven by India's infrastructure boom and government projects, alongside a strong focus on boosting margins.
