Lenskart is acquiring an additional 19% stake in its Chinese JV, Baofeng Framekart Technology Limited, raising its total shareholding to 70%. This strategic move aims to bolster control over manufacturing and supply chain operations, supporting the company's backward integration and localization efforts. The deal is valued at approximately RMB 7.5 Million (around ₹10.6 Cr). Additionally, Lenskart is establishing new subsidiaries in South Korea and China to expand its international footprint.
