Cochin Shipyard has addressed exchange fines totaling Rs. 9.66 lakh each regarding board composition norms.

The board noted that director appointments rest with the government, which recently inducted an independent director and enabled committee reconstitution.

Management is seeking fine waivers and pursuing further government appointments to achieve full compliance.
