Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Limited has disclosed that its material subsidiary, Royal Sandur Metals Private Limited, has received a penalty order of ₹0.12 Cr under the Customs Act from the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Customs.

The penalty relates to alleged non-payment of export duty on goods supplied to an SEZ unit during a period prior to its acquisition by the company.

The subsidiary is currently reviewing the order and assessing legal recourse.

Management has confirmed that this development has no material impact on the financial or operational activities of the company.
