The National Company Law Tribunal has reviewed a petition seeking to initiate a corporate insolvency resolution process against Mercury Trade Links Ltd over an unpaid operational debt of Rs. 2.70 Cr.

The applicant stated that agricultural products were supplied against total invoices amounting to Rs. 4.41 Cr, out of which Rs. 1.71 Cr was paid, leaving the remaining balance unpaid.

Mercury Trade Links Ltd contested the claimed amount, citing pre-existing disputes over delayed supply and inferior quality of goods, and noted that it suffered financial losses due to unseasonal rains affecting crop recovery.
