Dalmia Bharat Sugar approved an integrated sugar project in Tanzania via its subsidiary. The US$132 million project includes sugarcane plantations, sugar manufacturing (70k-150k MT/yr), and a 20-40 MW cogeneration facility. This diversifies into bio-energy and East African markets.
