SEPC (Shriram EPC Ltd till February 2021) was incorporated in June 2000. The company became majority owned by Mark AB since September 2022 post infusion of Rs 350 crore. SEPC specialises in executing EPC contracts, providing integrated solutions encompassing design, engineering, procurement, construction and project management services in water, process and process and metallurgy, and infrastructure segments.
SEPC gained approval to acquire Wintality Petroleum FZE, marking its entry into UAE petroleum trading. This 100% acquisition uses a non-cash share swap via its subsidiary, ensuring no cash outflow and SEPC retains 95.75% ownership, expanding its international footprint.
SEPC's board announced an AGM on Sep 28. Its UAE subsidiary is set to acquire Wintality Petroleum FZE, an oil trading firm, via a share swap, making it a step-down subsidiary. Ms. K B K Vasuki was appointed as an Independent Director, bringing extensive legal and judicial experience.
