Birla Tyres ceased to be a subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Refractories after converting secured debentures into equity shares, reducing DBRL’s stake from 99.99% to 0.33%, which was subsequently sold to Himadri Speciality Chemical Limited. As a result, Birla Tyres no longer holds control or special rights in Dalmia Bharat Sugar and related entities, reflecting a significant change in shareholding and group structure.
