HEG Limited — PPTs, 10-02-2026: Investor Presentation
HEG reports strong Q3 FY26 consolidated results. Revenue from operations jumped to 656.33 Cr, up from 478.38 Cr YoY. Profit after Tax (PAT) significantly increased to 206.97 Cr, compared to 83.40 Cr a year ago, with Basic EPS at ₹10.72. For the nine-month period, consolidated revenue hit 1,972.48 Cr with PAT at 455.13 Cr. Standalone EBITDA margin for Q3 stood at 32%.
The company's core strength lies in its expanded graphite electrode capacity, now at 100,000 tons since Nov'23, making it the third-largest producer in the Western world. An additional expansion of 15,000 tons is planned by end of 2027, targeting 115,000 tons. This positions HEG to capitalize on the global shift towards Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steelmaking outside China, which is a durable growth driver for graphite electrodes.
While global crude steel production faced pressure, growth in key regions like India and the US signals positive demand for HEG's exports, which constitute 65-70% of its production. Management remains confident in the long-term EAF trend despite short-term market pressures.
